IDF forces from a special unit began Operation 'Ayit' last night, before the ceasefire took effect, landing in the heart of the Christophany Ridge in southern Lebanon and establishing their operations in the area. This was reported by the IDF Spokesperson, who noted that the operation was approved by the Chief of Staff and commanded by the Commander of the Air Force and the Commander of the Northern Command.
