The Knesset approved in second and third readings an amendment to the Police Ordinance establishing that the use of water cannons at demonstrations will be done using clean water only, without any additives, including dye or odor. Additionally, it was determined that the police will be required to document every use with audiovisual recording including image and sound of appropriate quality, which will be kept in their databases for at least one year.
