After over 600 days of reserve duty: IDF releases emergency response teams near Lebanon border

The IDF is releasing emergency response team fighters in communities near the Lebanon border after more than 600 days, ynet has learned. Meanwhile, emergency response teams in communities directly adjacent to the border will continue to operate on a smaller scale. In more distant communities that were evacuated until March, they will be closed, except for Kiryat Shmona. According to the IDF, weapons will remain in the possession of emergency response team members.
