The Prosecution filed an indictment with the Haifa District Court against Ali Masawda, 28, for murdering his wife, Yonit Rusinova, with intent under aggravated circumstances. According to the indictment, Masawda stabbed his wife to death in their Haifa apartment while their infant son was in the apartment, and then washed the blood from her body in the shower in an attempt to obscure evidence of the murder.
