Turkey's Foreign Ministry condemned Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's recognition of the Armenian genocide during an interview with Patrick Bet-David's podcast. The ministry's statement said that Netanyahu's remarks, in which he stated that the Turks were responsible for killing about two million Armenians in 1915, were "meant to cover up Israel's crimes in the Gaza Strip".
