Foreign Minister Gideon Saar met in Kyiv with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as part of his diplomatic visit to the country. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported this, adding that "the meeting was friendly and was held in good spirits." During the meeting, the two discussed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between the countries, the war between Ukraine and Russia and the situation in the Middle East, with emphasis on Iran. Saar asked the president to lead the declaration of the Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist organization in the Ukrainian parliament, and to push for the implementation of sanctions by the E3 countries (Germany, France and England) against Iran.
