The Foreign Ministry has issued a recommendation to exercise extreme caution and heightened vigilance following civil unrest in France, which is expected to resume particularly ahead of October 24 and November 5, 2026. The advisory states that it is recommended to avoid going to protest sites, even when the demonstrations appear peaceful, due to the risk of sudden escalation and violent confrontations; to prepare for disruptions in public transportation, road closures and changes in traffic arrangements; and to pay attention to movement restrictions and nighttime curfews imposed in certain areas.
