U.S. President Donald Trump is considering military actions against drug cartels operating in Venezuela, including bombings on the country's territory. This was reported by CNN, citing several sources briefed on the administration's intentions. According to the sources, this is part of a broader strategy aimed at weakening Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, who is accused by the U.S. of direct involvement in drug smuggling into its territory. Between Tuesday and Wednesday night, the administration announced it had bombed a boat allegedly departing from Venezuela, which according to the administration was carrying 11 people smuggling drugs from Venezuela to the U.S.
