Thousands rally in Tel Aviv for state commission: 'Judiciary has no connection to Hamas funding'

|
Thousands of people attended a demonstration against the government at Habima Square in Tel Aviv. Former Beit She'an mayor Rafi Ben Shitrit, a member of the 'October Council' whose son Staff Sergeant Elroy was killed in the battle for Nahal Oz, spoke and said that "the worst government in the country's history refuses to establish a state commission of inquiry and wants to create a political whitewashing committee with false claims about distrust in the judicial system. The main person under investigation, the father of the misconception, wants to appoint his own investigators and determine what they should investigate. The judicial system has no and never had any connection to the policy of funding Hamas with Qatari money. Judges in Jerusalem never said that Hamas is an asset."
