Shikli: The war could have been waged better — if the military echelon had listened

|
Diaspora Affairs Minister Amichai Shikli said at the Tkuma right-wing conference at Expo Tel Aviv that the war "could have been waged better." According to him, the reason lies in the fact that the military echelon did not listen to the political echelon on issues of humanitarian aid and severing the northern Gaza Strip. Shikli added: "But we had to fight not only the challenges on the battlefield, but also the challenges in the relationship between the political echelon and the military echelon. And still, the achievement is tremendous and Hamas is evil, it no longer exists as an effective military force in the Gaza Strip."
