Danny Elgart, brother of Itzik Elgart who was kidnapped from Nir Oz on October 7 and whose body was returned in a deal, met Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his visit to the kibbutz and said he stood before the PM and showed him a picture of his brother. "I told him: 'Look my brother in the eyes and tell him why you abandoned him.' He looked, but the biggest absurdity was that the Prime Minister asked Gal Hirsch who I am. He doesn't know me," Elgart recounted. "We blocked the entrance in advance and informed security personnel that no one would be able or dare to approach Itzik's house."
