The Israel Land Authority and Northern District Police announced a wide-scale enforcement operation in the settlement of Tuba-Zangariyye in the Eastern Galilee, during which hundreds of inspectors and police officers are raiding approximately 100 sites of illegal construction and invasions of state lands. This was stated in a joint announcement by the two organizations. According to the statement, "The operation is part of the national effort to strengthen governance and restore deterrence, with emphasis on areas where criminal activity threatens local residents and prevents or delays development and growth."
