Border Police fighters in the Jerusalem envelope arrested a resident of the East Jerusalem village of Kfar Aqab over the weekend on suspicion of stealing a vehicle from Mevasseret Zion and attempting to break through the al-Jib checkpoint. According to police, forces received a report about a vehicle suspected as stolen making its way to the checkpoint. The forces closed the checkpoint, but the vehicle's driver tried to break through the blockade, and when he failed, he exited the vehicle and began to flee on foot. He was apprehended after a chase.
