A French businessman has filed a lawsuit against Israel for war crimes, after the IDF allegedly uprooted 600 olive trees owned by his family in Lebanon. The plaintiff's lawyer told French news agency AFP that the plaintiff's family has been farming in the Nabatieh area in the south of the country for 250 years. He claims the trees were uprooted after the ceasefire and suspects the trees were transferred to Israel. The plaintiff said there is 'no evidence that Hezbollah used the family home or agricultural land for combat purposes.'
