Dozens of parents arrived at the daycare complex in the Romema neighborhood of Jerusalem, where 41 infants and toddlers began suffering from respiratory difficulties, including two in critical condition. The daycares operated in one building without a license. Dozens of parents arrived at the location to identify their children. Dr. Menachem Astrik, a volunteer physician with Magen David Adom (MDA), said: "There were dozens of infants in the building. We began conducting searches and providing medical treatment to the infants present while bringing them up to ambulances and MDA intensive care units and evacuating them to hospitals in the city for further medical treatment."
