Joint List: 'Our response to Abu Shahadeh's disqualification – mass turnout at the polls'

|
The Joint List responded to Supreme Court President Isaac Amit's proposal that Balad chairman Sami Abu Shahadeh withdraw his candidacy, stating that "the Supreme Court has effectively decided its position even if it has not yet published its ruling. The court's decision is effectively a disqualification in practice, made following a campaign of incitement and political persecution led by the fascist and Kahanist right, which was joined by leaders of the Zionist opposition parties. There is no legal justification for his disqualification. Our response to the attempts to exclude us and silence our voice will be a mass turnout at the polls on October 27."
