Residents of the Shuafat refugee camp in East Jerusalem claim that the woman who was shot in the camp last night and pronounced dead shortly after was shot by police at the entrance to her home. The woman was brought to the Shuafat checkpoint where medical teams pronounced her death. The police announced that they "opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident" and have not yet responded to the residents' claims. Footage from the camp showed armed Border Police officers, but it has not yet been reported what activity they were conducting there.
