Hamas is preparing to soon announce the identity of the terror organization's next leader, following the completion of recent internal elections. According to the Saudi channel Al-Sharq, the announcement is expected during the month of Ramadan, which begins tomorrow. The final-stage contest is between Hamas leader in the Gaza Strip Khalil al-Hayya and chairman of the political bureau abroad Khaled Mashal. The chosen one of the two will replace the temporary council established following the elimination of Yahya Sinwar.
