A 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck near Crete, Greece. The German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) reported that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 83 kilometers below the earth's surface. Many Israelis reported feeling the earthquake throughout the country - from north to south. Reports to ynet about tremors came from Haifa, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Rishon LeZion, Kiryat Yam, Rehovot, Herzliya, Givatayim, Kiryat Ono, Petah Tikva and Holon.
