Indictment: Broke into elderly man's apartment in Ramat Gan and forged documents to take control

The prosecution filed an indictment with the Tel Aviv District Court against Elad Cohen, 35, from Shaarei Tikva and Shmuel Yosef Shukrun, 40, from Ashkelon, who conspired with attorney Ronen Shachar and fraudulently took over an apartment belonging to a childless elderly man in Ramat Gan, valued at approximately 2.5 million shekels. According to the indictment, they broke into the apartment on several occasions, stole personal documents, replaced the apartment lock and with Shachar forged a sales agreement and additional documents that they submitted to the state in order to transfer the property to their possession. The indictment attributes various offenses to them including forgery under aggravating circumstances and breaking into a residence.
