Former New York Mayor Eric Adams visited Kfar Aza and heard testimonies from family members about the October 7 massacre. Adams, who visited the site together with New York Consul Ophir Akunis, said that "Despite everything, Israel has proven that it is recovering from the shocking event that took place on October 7. It is overcoming - and winning." Akunis welcomed him: "On that terrible day, when Hamas monsters invaded Israel, we saw Satan incarnate. The whole world needs to see what these beasts did to young people here, to entire families they burned. You are a brave leader and the people of Israel will never forget your words on October 8, 'It's not ok'."
