Representatives of the Democrats party, Naama Lazimi, Gilad Kariv, Efrat Rayten and Gaby Lasky, recommended to President Isaac Herzog to task Yashar Chairman Gadi Eisenkot with forming a government. Kariv told Herzog that "a decision has been reached in the elections. It's difficult to translate it into governmental reality, but there is a clear decision of 67 mandates against the continuation of Netanyahu's rule and that was the central question."
