Tragedy in Khan Younis: Seven soldiers killed in APC explosion in southern Gaza Strip

The IDF spokesperson has cleared for publication that an officer and six combat engineers were killed yesterday in an APC explosion in the city of Khan Younis in southern Gaza Strip. So far, the names of six of the fallen soldiers have been cleared for publication - Lieutenant Matan Shai Yashinovsky, 21, from Kfar Yona, a platoon commander in the 605 Combat Engineering Battalion; Sergeant First Class Ronal Ben-Moshe, 20, from Rehovot; Sergeant First Class Niv Radea, 20, from Eliakhin; Sergeant Ronen Shapiro, 19, from Mazkeret Batya; Sergeant Shahar Manuav, 21, from Ashkelon, and Sergeant Maayan Baruch Perlstein, 20, from Ashhar - all fighters in the 605 Engineering Battalion. The name of another fallen soldier has not yet been cleared for publication.
