The Hostage Families Headquarters responded to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's statement that "many opportunities have opened - first to rescue the hostages." The headquarters stated that "the hostages' families welcome that after 20 months, the return of the hostages has finally been set as the primary goal by the Prime Minister." They further stated that "this is a very important statement that should lead to one deal in one phase, to return all 50 hostages and end the fighting in Gaza. Along with this statement, it is important to emphasize that what is needed is release, not rescue. The difference of one word that could mean for the hostages the difference between salvation and loss."
