Tom Barrak, the United States envoy to Lebanon and Syria, said that "Israel continues to attack in southern Lebanon because Hezbollah's weapons still exist." He made these remarks at a conference in Bahrain, adding: "Leadership needs to act faster in disarming Hezbollah. Thousands of missiles in southern Lebanon still threaten Israel. It is not logical that there is no dialogue between the two countries."
