IDF: 240 ultra-Orthodox Jews enlisted yesterday for combat and combat support roles

The IDF spokesperson announced that the main September recruitment cycle for dedicated tracks for ultra-Orthodox men began yesterday. During the first day of recruitment, 240 ultra-Orthodox men joined service in the IDF's ultra-Orthodox tracks. 198 enlisted in combat roles and 42 in combat support roles.
