MK Kariv: 'Zini was selected through completely flawed process. 5 min with Netanyahu in Tzeelim is not an interview'

|
MK Gilad Kariv (Democrats) addressed the appointment of General David Zini as the next Shin Bet chief in a ynet studio interview, stating that 'the way he was promoted is completely flawed. This was done behind the IDF Chief of Staff's back. Five minutes at Tzeelim base is not a proper interview.' Regarding the humanitarian situation in Gaza, he said he feels 'great moral and ethical difficulty. The images from there do not leave me indifferent.' According to him, 'We must not undergo a process of dehumanization. Turning a blind eye is harmful. We must work towards ending the war.'
