The prosecution filed an indictment against a 45-year-old man from Or Haganuz settlement in the Upper Galilee, who stabbed a person and seriously wounded him during Sabbath prayers in the nearby settlement of Kadita at the beginning of the month. According to the police, the defendant was invited to complete a prayer quorum in a house that serves as a synagogue in the settlement, and during his stay there, a confrontation developed between him and the family members. The defendant turned to the homeowner and said, "Your wife is more righteous than you," and in response, the homeowner's son asked him to leave the premises. When the son accompanied him outside, the defendant turned around and stabbed him with a knife - until the son hit him on the head with a hoe to stop him.
