Yehuda Cohen, father of kidnapped soldier Nimrod Cohen, responded to statements made by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the government meeting, according to which "those calling for ending the war ensure that October 7 will happen again," saying: "Following Netanyahu's slanderous remarks, I just wanted to remind that the October 7 horrors happened because of Netanyahu, because he was the one who strengthened Hamas and helped fund it and because Netanyahu ignored all warnings about Hamas's intentions, and as long as Netanyahu remains in power, Israel is in danger of these horrors returning." He added that "only horrors have been brought upon us by Netanyahu and his horrific government."
