The Ministry of Health reported that a 6-year-old child, normally healthy, has died from the flu. According to the announcement, the child was vaccinated against the flu and suffered from fever and cough several days ago before his condition deteriorated. Despite resuscitation efforts, he was pronounced dead. The Ministry of Health emphasizes that the flu season this year began early in Israel and other countries, and there is a notable steep rise in the rate of flu cases. It was also reported that based on global data monitoring, a season with severe illness is expected.
