The 16-year-old 11th grade student involved in the accidental discharge that killed 14-year-old Uri Portal in Rishon Lezion has been released to house arrest for one week. According to suspicions, the 16-year-old removed his father's gun from the safe while he was abroad and brought it with him to school. Attorney Nir Alfasa, who represents the student, stated that "during the detention days, the police worked vigorously to thoroughly examine the teen's version and rightfully decided to release him to house arrest under his family's supervision."
