The IDF Spokesperson cleared for publication the deaths of Capt. Shachar Gamla (23) from Natur in the southern Golan Heights, deputy company commander in the Egoz Unit, and Sgt. Ehad Yaari (21) from Rehovot, a fighter in the Shaked Battalion of the Givati Brigade. Gamla was seriously wounded by an explosive drone strike in southern Lebanon on Thursday night, evacuated to the hospital and died on Saturday. Yaari was killed as a result of a stray bullet in an incident in southern Lebanon, following which a Military Police investigation is expected to be opened.
