Deputy Chief Superintendent Gilad Bahat, head of the Investigations and Technologies Division and police legal advisor, participated in a Knesset National Security Committee discussion on threats against public officials. He stated that "numerous investigative actions are being taken with the involvement of the highest police ranks. There is a very significant effort, and all tools available to the police are being utilized on this matter." According to him, public officials "across the political spectrum who allow themselves to make statements that only increase tensions bear responsibility. Everyone needs to take this to heart." MK Gottlieb interrupted him, shouting: "This is gaslighting."
