Ukraine's air defense systems intercepted 18 out of 41 missiles and 108 out of 125 drones launched overnight from Russia into its territory. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, 23 missiles and 10 drones hit 20 sites. Russian state media reported that "the Russian military carried out one of the largest attacks on Kyiv since the start of the special military operation." Russia claims the strikes targeted sites related to drone production. Ukrainians have reported one fatality in Kyiv so far and fires in several areas of the city.
