Dozens of ultra-Orthodox protesters, mostly children, block buses at Jerusalem entrance

|
Dozens of ultra-Orthodox protesters, most of them children, are blocking buses at the entrance to Jerusalem in an effort to prevent them from reaching the central bus station. Police forces at the scene are dispersing the protesters, and so far three buses have managed to pass through. Adir Schwartz, Deputy Mayor of Jerusalem who is at the scene, said that "we cannot ignore the serious matter here - the ultra-Orthodox leadership is sending children to block roads and stand in front of buses. This is irresponsible and dangerous conduct."
