Misha Kraker, a tour guide staying in Hawaii, described in an interview with the ynet studio the tsunami warnings received following the earthquake in Kamchatka in eastern Russia. "I'm in Honolulu with friends, we went up to a high safe location," he said. "We received an alert around 1:30 p.m. (Hawaii time), we had several hours. The tsunami wave was planned to arrive at 7:17 p.m. but nothing significant is visible." He added that "many tourists have contacted me, as well as family members who are here asking what to do. The only tip I have for them - get to high ground."
