Cabinet meeting limited in time to allow Netanyahu and ministers to attend Benjamin Regional Council event

|
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu brought forward and limited the political-security cabinet discussion on the operational plan to take control of Gaza City - because of an event by the head of the Benjamin Regional Council, Israel Gantz. This was learned by ynet. The cabinet meeting that was supposed to convene at 6:00 PM was moved to 4:00 PM and limited until 7:00 PM - at the request of PM Netanyahu, Defense Minister Israel Katz and other ministers so they could attend the event. According to sources, the prime minister's wife Sara Netanyahu is also expected to attend and hold a meeting with the wives of reserve soldiers from Benjamin. Ministers in the cabinet sharply criticized the decision: "It's absurd that the PM and ministers prefer to honor Israel Gantz at the expense of time for in-depth discussion."
