Minister Yitzhak Wasserlauf told President Isaac Herzog during the round of consultations for assigning the mandate to form a government that 'many have no faith in the election results because some of them were bought with money for lists that do not recognize Hamas as a terrorist organization.' Herzog responded: 'All of this is in the realm of speculation, there is no evidence or proof. In the legal world, suspicions must be substantiated, one must be careful because people make determinations that sometimes end with a whimper. A team will be established with the best legal experts and this must be investigated thoroughly. Let the investigation proceed.'
