Police have opened an arson investigation in a building in the settlement of Beitar Illit. 20 residents required medical treatment, of whom seven were lightly injured and evacuated to the hospital. According to a police statement, after an examination by a fire investigator, "it appears at this stage that this is arson. Officers began collecting evidence and taking action to locate a suspect in the incident."
