After 4 Hours: Fire Near Kfar Aviv in Ashdod Area Brought Under Control

After approximately four hours, firefighters gained control over a fire that broke out in an open area near Kfar Aviv in the Ashdod region, fire and rescue services reported. The fire, which spread rapidly due to strong winds and weather conditions, threatened residential homes and agricultural areas, and was eventually extinguished by 12 firefighting teams with support from 4 firefighting aircraft. The fire was stopped before it reached residential areas, and forces are now conducting final extinguishing operations.
