According to the Home Front Command's position presented at the High Court of Justice hearing on petitions demanding prayer be allowed at the Temple Mount and Western Wall, "at any given moment throughout all hours of the day, 50 worshippers are allowed to enter the Western Wall plaza, and upon their departure, additional worshippers are allowed to enter." Therefore, it was noted: "Every day, hundreds of worshippers are allowed to enter the Western Wall plaza in order to enable freedom of religion and worship."
