Some 300 Beit Shemesh residents were evacuated to Jerusalem hotels following an Iranian missile strike on the city that killed nine people. The evacuation and accommodation were coordinated between authorities, with Jerusalem municipality staff accompanying the evacuees throughout the evening and night and providing initial assistance that included food, supplies and emotional support.
