Netanyahu: 'Trump is our greatest friend, but Israel's existence is not up for negotiation'

|
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that "we are in the midst of events both military and political." He made these remarks in a speech at the state funeral for Shimon and Rebecca Herzl, the grandfather and grandmother of the State's visionary Theodor Herzl, whose remains were returned from Belgrade. "I want to make this clear," he said. "President Trump is our greatest friend and the greatest friend we have ever had in the White House, and the United States is our greatest ally — and everyone understands that as well. But Israel's existence is not up for negotiation — with an agreement or without an agreement — I am determined that we will do everything necessary to ensure our security and our future."
