Father of soldier killed yesterday in Gaza: 'He simply flourished in the army'

|
Avi Rosenfeld, father of Sergeant Israel Nathan Rosenfeld who was killed yesterday in an explosive device detonation in northern Gaza Strip, said in a conversation with Ynet Studio that his son "wanted to be in a combat unit for a long time, he told us: 'I want to do something for our country.'" Rosenfeld added that his son was not a student who liked school, "but in the army he flourished." According to him, "It hurts very much. There is a reason for all this, we are the people of Israel and peace doesn't come cheap for us. I am very proud of him."
