The Revolutionary Guards issued a statement after the interceptions in Kuwait, claiming they attacked a U.S. Air Force base from which, according to the Iranians, last night's attack on an area in Bandar Abbas was launched. The Revolutionary Guards did not explicitly mention Kuwait: "Following the U.S. military's attack at dawn today, with missiles, on a point in the Bandar Abbas airport area, the American Air Force base from which the aggression was launched has been attacked."
