Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed during cross-examination in his corruption trial that 'Yedioth Ahronoth, in full cooperation with law enforcement agencies, orchestrated a fictitious investigation about gifts.' Attorney Sharon Kleinman, representing Yedioth Ahronoth publisher Noni Mozes, asked Netanyahu if hostility against him increased after Israel Hayom newspaper was established. The Prime Minister responded: 'Yedioth has been hostile since I entered politics. As I grew stronger, the hostility increased.'
