Following the explosion at the Intel factory in Kiryat Gat, Mayor Kfir Soisa reported that "after a situation assessment held on site in cooperation with all relevant parties, the fire at the factory has been completely extinguished. As of now, there are no special instructions for residents and there is no danger to the public. We ask that you not arrive at the incident area, in order to allow security and rescue forces to complete their work at the site without disruption."
