Hamas published its first official statement following US President Donald Trump's post that Israel had agreed to the new hostage deal framework, saying that "the mediating brothers are making vigorous efforts to bridge the gaps between the parties and reach a framework agreement that will allow the opening of a serious negotiation round. We are approaching the situation with great responsibility, conducting national consultations and discussing proposals presented to us, with the aim of reaching an agreement that will ensure the end of aggression, withdrawal of forces, and emergency humanitarian aid to our people in the Gaza Strip."
