Sara Netanyahu's Lawsuit Against Former Residence Employee Silvy Gansia Rejected

|
The Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court rejected the defamation and privacy violation lawsuit filed by Sara Netanyahu in 2020 against former residence employee Silvy Gansia, and ruled that Netanyahu must pay 10,000 shekels in legal fees. The verdict was published for the third time. Two previous verdicts in the case were already canceled, since Gansia's former attorney disappeared and did not submit closing arguments. In the lawsuit, Netanyahu claimed that Gansia is a planted informant who was exploited and funded with enormous sums by political entities who wanted to harm the prime minister before the elections. Judge Ilan Ronen ruled in the verdict that Gansia has the defense of 'truth was spoken' and the defense of good faith, and completely rejected Netanyahu's claim of privacy violation.
