Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke at the JNS conference in Jerusalem, addressing Gaza's future: "Israel will maintain military control over the region in any case, we will not install the Palestinian Authority there. Why would we replace one regime sworn to our destruction with another regime sworn to our destruction?" The prime minister later said he welcomed U.S. President Donald Trump's plan to allow voluntary migration of Gaza residents.
